I've been seeing Dr Kasendorf for over 2 years now dealing with multiple chronic & degenerative issues of my spine. He's been the best doctor I've worked with. Very compassionate & empathetic. He takes the time to listen & perform diagnostics to get to the root of the problem. Unfortunately mine are like whack-a-mole and make it hard to treat but he doesn't give up. He's even looked at other injuries that have popped up. If all doctors were as caring as he is we'd all be better. His staff has been great, especially dealing with my terribly difficult insurance.

Initially, he seemed charming and empathetic. However, when I was eventually placed in a room, his demeanor became arrogant and unsympathetic. He continually left the room many times without a word. Kassendorf did none of the appropriate examination. I was left feeling ignored and inconsequential. I have since retained a pain specialist with the necessary empathy and decorum. He was thorough, organized and created a viable plan for my needs. I felt seen and heard. The confidence he imbued within me helped to assuage the doubts after seeing Kassendorf. Persons in severe chronic pain need a doctor with the qualifications of knowledge and sincerity. It is a difficult field to be in so be mindful and steadfast when choosing a pain management doctor.
