Dr. P. Ryan was my 3rd Oncologist and absolutely the best. How I wish she had been my physician from the start. Her compassion and ability to connect mind, body and soul brought the office visits to a different level. Dr. Ryan always, always made me feel I was the only person she needed to see that day. She is personally vested in the care of all her patients and her staff are outstanding. This Is a Very Special Group and one we all need when cancer disrupts our lives.

She seems a very nice doctor, which my mom was not welcome to! We have been waiting for more than two weeks just to set an appointment for an annual check and her office asked us to provide documents of the patient’s past history. As we provided whatever we had, apparently the doctor wanted every single detailed image and documentation, even for the things that existed more than 10 years ago!
At the end of the day, they declined to see my mom based on strict policy!
My only argument was that if the doctor that I visited after having urgent situation about my vision refused to take care of my problem and did not operate surgery on me. I would have lost my eyes! my doctor could have asked for all the documentation to my problems history but he didn’t and felt responsible to see a new patient and take care of him…
When someone calls themselves expert, they should act like it!

From my first appointment with Dr. Ryan, she has taken as much time as necessary to make sure I understand my diagnosis and treatment. She maintains a professional, knowledgeable, caring and positive approach throughout. She is very good at explaining things in layman's terms, and gives you time to ask your questions and answers them clearly. I have great confidence in her skill in treating me.

Dr. Ryan is absolutely amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable about breast cancer and thoroughly explained every detail about my diagnosis from beginning to end. She also listened to my concerns and worked on my behalf to ensure that I wasn’t given unnecessary cancer treatments. She sincerely cared! When my husband was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, we had experience with a few oncologists. We realized the importance of finding the very best oncologist that meets all of our needs when we’re faced with cancer. Dr. Ryan exceeded all of our expectations!

The personnel are rude and inconsiderate. I was scheduled for an injection however, they failed to make me aware or schedule an appointment to do required bloodwork. They made it very clear that they felt it was my fault. It ended up taking over an hour to do something that should have taken a very few minutes. This was not the first time there was an issue. It seems to be the norm instead of the unusual. They talk down their nose to you and indicate that they don't think you are of sound mind. Getting older, does not make you senile.

Dr. Ryan has been a great doctor. She is full of knowledge and is always keeping up with the latest and greatest cancer research. In over 2 years I have not had a single negative interaction with her, her staff, or the facility. I highly recommend Dr. Ryan and Texas Oncology.

Dr. Ryan is a very good doctor. She has great bedside manner, she listens and addresses any/all concerns I have. She is my oncologist for breast cancer and I highly recommend her! Her NP ,Andrea, is also great.
