Dr. Venables was fantastic! After one visit I was able to bend over and pick things up off the floor - without using a grabber - for the first time in years. I can also now bend over and tie my shoes. These may seem like small things, but they feel like major accomplishments for someone in their late 70s. I'm looking forward to more meetings with her as we work on lower back and hip issues which should help as the ski season is almost here!

Giuliana is absolutely fantastic at what she does! She made me feel very comfortable during my first visit (and this was my first time doing osteopathy!) I went in for scar mobilization and pelvic floor evaluation after a c-section nearly two years ago, and she taught me SO much about my body, posture, gait and how to correct some things that are causing issues in my body. She sent me home with several recommendations, stretches, guides, etc. so that I can continue to help myself at home. I highly recommend Dr. Giuliana Venables! She has a great understanding of the body and ability to heal so many different ailments and misalignments.

We came to see Dr. Venables with our newborn when she was having issues with her latch and suck. Dr. Venables was truly such a bright light during those tough weeks/months. She approached our daughter with such gentle and kind care and made sure to always put her patient first. All that aside she was also incredibly flexible and accommodating (something you rarely see from medical practitioners). Though the effects of osteopathy are hard to quantify I do truly believe she made a difference and our daughter was able to improve her bottle feeding with Dr. Venables' help.

I am happy to recommend Dr. Giuliana Venables. I have been having issues with my arthritic shoulder. I had never been treated by an osteopath before, but I had learned that they are often helpful with arthritis.

Dr. Venables spent time talking with me, not only about my shoulder but also about my general health history and self-care habits. Then she spent time treating my shoulder as well as my entire body. She discussed treating the whole person as well as whatever acute symptoms bring us in.

Over the next couple of days I noticed that my shoulder motion was smoother and pain-free. In fact, it felt better than it had in many weeks. I can only attribute this to my appointment with Dr. Venables. I will follow up with her and continue to get the care I need to keep myself pain free and, more importantly, to help prevent further deterioration of my shoulder.

UPDATE: It has been a few weeks since my treatment. I still haven’t been back, and the shoulder remains better than it was before my appointment.
