After my appointment with Dr. Cheriyan, I can say he is great for multiple reasons. Not only is he extremely gifted at what he does, he’s also very kind and empathic to one’s circumstances. This past year has been a tough and in some ways traumatizing one, a lot of which caused or related to chronic TMJ, neck, shoulder, back, and pretty much all over body pain. While discussing these issues, I became emotional and Dr. Cheriyan was very sensitive and patient through it. After getting my history, he started his exam. He was quickly able to diagnose many of the issues I’ve been having with my body and began doing gentle manipulations to help relieve them. A big issue of mine is tension in my head, compressing my brain and causing me a lot of pain. He was able to quickly remove a lot of that tension in painless ways. Another thing I like is that he talks through what he’s doing. I’m the type of person that likes to understand what is happening and why during appointments and he was able to explain everything as he did it.

Overall, Dr. Cheriyan is kind, gentle, and knowledgeable.
