Came here as a recommendation for Dr. Barcel. He is great. Had my first appointment and it went well. My follow up appointment was not so great. Maybe being here on a Friday was a bad idea. It took an hour to get into a room. They call you in but you wait in the hallway. You’re lucky if there is a chair available because this place is packed with people. They are over their heads with too many patients. So even though you may be there for an injury you may be forced to stand in this second waiting area. I had to wait in this area, standing (which is fine for me) but visibly not reasonable for others. This was a third time I had to wait/stand in this area because I got x-rays. When I finally went into a room there was absorbent pads left on the floor from the previous patient which means that the room was not cleaned or the bed cover changed. Again, Dr. Barcel is great but the facility is not accommodating to patients and gives me the ick. Medical assistants and radiology techs are pleasant but the check out staff are not. A smile or even acknowledgment that you are waiting for them (nobody was checking out while I waited) would be nice.

Julie is very professional, courteous and takes time with patients. CONA has an outstanding and valuable asset in Julie. Her knowledge and skill are evident each time I have to sit across from her and explain my situation (back pain). Julie thanks for all you do!!!

Although the waiting room was crowded, the staff is very efficient and I was seen within 10 minutes. Chandler Jones, PAC was awesome! Very kind and empathetic. He explained everything to me, reviewed my X-rays and coordinated with the hand surgeon who was in another location but agreed to see me right away. I would not hesitate to recommend CONA walk in clinic.
