I came to Dr Brown with an issue on my SI joint.
He is very sweet and cares about his patients, however his treatment didn't work for me.
He started treating me without a proper diagnosis of what was going on on my SI joint. I only know that when I started seeing him I was able to walk around with no pain on my SI joint, just had discomfort when laying down and twisting. I told him I only needed a little bit of help to fully recover and he never explained the risk of the treatment he was doing on me. After the third session, I had a huge flare up (even got bruises on my SI area) that made me not able to walk around or twist at all... He said that he could fix it, but unfortunately after 4 sessions I didn't get better and lost hope on improving my quality of life - I'm 30 years old, I have no previous trauma or accident and, sadly, I'm in constant pain and cannot live a normal life.

I was referred to Dr. Brown after suffering for about a year with severe neck pain. I had sought treatment with numerous practioners including chiropractic, physical therapy, traction, acupuncture and finally sought the advice of a neurosurgeon. After numerous xrays and MRI's they concluded it was severe arthritis and inoperable and advised I keep moving and perhaps go on prescription pain medications. I did not want to take prescription pain meds. I could no longer swim (my exercise of choice) nor hike comfortably. Travel plans had to be cancelled since I could not sit comfortably for hours on planes. Dr. Brown has treated me for about 6 months. The manual therapy treatment is subtle and not something I completely understand. During and after the treament, I feel relaxed and soothed. Slowly, over a series of months, my neck has regained much of its flexibility and the pain has greatly decreased. Dr. Brown described it as "chipping away at the block, releasing bits" and gradually this has happened. I have been able to return to the water with a modified workout and have attempted some travel. I continue also with physical therapy treatment and they too can see and feel the difference in my neck. Dr. Brown has given me relief and hope. I feel that he is a true healer and very kind person and would highly recommend him.
