Dr Talty is very kind and took lots of time with me. While I do believe that she cares very much, she is also very overconfident which led her to prescribing me a heavy dose of hormones and other prescriptions before testing me for a single thing. Disturbingly while reviewing my blood tests she told me I came from hunter gatherers and was a thrillseeker...as if she was reading this from my blood. Very disconcerting and troublesome.

With Dr Talty five stars just isn't enough! She is the best, hand's down! As a sufferer of Chronic Lyme, she was able to diagnose and return me to health, when I had all but given up. Not only is she brilliant, but she is warm and compassionate, in her approach to medicine. Those of us who have suffered from chronic, debilitating conditions know how lucky we are to have a world class doctor, like her, here in Virginia. I not only owe here my life, but she has treated my entire family and we are eternally grateful for her helping us. We just hope she never quits practicing. She truly is a hero and we her think Natasha, her wonderful assistant is great also! Keep up the great lifechanging work and know how much you have meant and continue to mean, to so many!

She was right about everything! I had been suffering with Lyme disease for decades- many years after my last known tick bite. I was starting to lose my balance and my cognitive function was sliding way low, well before I sought help. It only became worse after a tremendous amount of personal trauma- which is when it hits the hardest. I received the unexpected Lyme diagnosis from a different clinic. But after reading about it, I knew the usual round of antibiotics wasn’t enough. So I sought out a doctor who could treat me beyond that. I knew I needed more help. And I found it! She helped me to understand the confusing, side-winding, terrible journey that is Lyme, and she caught and helped me fix other problems I had as well. My thyroid was a wreck. It’s not now. The doctor I saw before was much less interested in that. Talty took charge. Ordered the right labs. She told me what I needed to know. And it worked! I trust her. Her advice has changed the course of my life. And my attitude about it. I’m not broken. My body was struggling before, but I don’t have to. So I no longer do. She’s awesome!

After three years of bizarre symptoms and no luck finding a medical professional who could help me, Dr. Talty took the time to listen to me, get to the root cause of my problem (long-term exposure to an extremely moldy work environment), and come up with a plan of action to relieve and eliminate my symptoms and their cause. After six months in her care I feel almost back to normal - something I never thought would be possible again. Dr. Talty will do her very best to help you to feel like yourself again! My insurance did not cover any of it, but I would pay it all over again and much more to be able to live well. Her practice is extremely highly recommended!

Dr. Talty listened to me, analyzed my symptoms and gave me a diagnosis of illness in one appointment. I have been through numerous doctors that never listened and treated my symptoms. I'm over-joyed she is close to home! She doesn't take insurance that is the only caveat but I have spent thousands upon thousands trying to see relief and she was the less expensive alternative. Plus, she's very down-to-earth!

Dr. Talty seems to be one of the most Lyme literate/Lyme educated in the SW VA area. After years of being diagnosed wrongly by numerous other doctors (due to lack of education and or bias) she recognized my disease and began trying to get me better.

Had an insect bite, thought the rash would go away w no issues. Woke up one day and my life changed forever. Panic attacks, inner ear inflammation jaw tightness and pain. Comes to findout I was suffering from Bartonella and Dr Talty attacked it aggressively. I held on to the herx reactions and I'm at 90%. I got my life back thanks to her. Don't listen to these 1 star reviews.
