Honestly...my experience was amazing! I've suffered from headaches and debilitating migraines for YEARS. Seems that every 10 days or I was fighting off pain, vomiting and the only thing that would make me feel better was a dark room, no sound, and sleep. I went to see Dr. Michael Florek on the recommendation of my son's pediatrician. Within two visits, he had changed everything. He recognized that my neck was compressed via manipulation and confirmed it on an x ray. He gave me some exercises for my neck as well as connected me with his PT. Its been 6 months and no migraine. Its been a life changer. I have to maintain the exercises as I can feel my neck wanting to fall into old habits due to muscle memory and years of repeated movements that comes from working in film and holding cameras... however Michael literally changed my world. I've been meaning to go back to see him for basic maintenance but as I have been "cured" of the debilitating headaches, I haven't been in a rush. Keep in mind, over the years I've done massage, accupuncture, exercise, spoken with neurologists and purposefully avoided medicine for my persistent migraines and yet Dr. Florek was the first and only person to recognize that there could be some correlation with my neck, the compression and my headaches. Again, loved my experience and definitely recommend his care to anyone who seeks any sort of physical relief.

Dr. Florek is an exceptional DO who focuses on non-surgical intervention. I came to see him with a painful issue in my hip/leg. After a few PT sessions with both Sanjay and Maria, followed by back to back consultations with Dr. Florek, I have felt lots of improvement. He listens to my questions, gives me excellent advice, and holds me accountable to continue my exercise programs at home, which I appreciate and believe is key in osteopathic medicine.

Dr. Florek has treated both of my knees and a shoulder with great success. He has done PRP and gel shots in addition to manipulation. The manipulation provided immediate relief from pain and mobility and the injections longer-term positive results. He provides clear explanations and obviously cares about his patients. The office is convenient and pleasant and the staff are very friendly and capable. I've also received physical therapy from Maria, who I also recommend, but have not had a chance to use any of their other services.

Dr. Florek is very thorough and detail oriented. He explains his treatment protocols clearly, answers my questions patiently and in depth. He is collaborative and open to discussing issues about my treatment. He is also sensitive about my comfort level while undergoing treatment and regularly checks in with me via text to see how I’m doing. Amazing. experience. I had so many questions which dr florek answered patiently and with great detail. He explained the procedure carefully to put me at ease and the result was no pain at all. My husband, a bonafide senior with two strokes behind him, recently fell and wound up with lower back level 10 pain. After a first session with Dr Florek, the pain started to diminish significantly and by the end of the week the pain was just about gone. The healing powers of Dr Florek lie not only in his knowledge and competent skills but in the kind and sensitive manner in which he treats and cares for patients. He is not only a gift to the medical profession but to the human race as well!
