We started out seeing Dr. Tina because my son had sensory processing issues and trouble sleeping, and then my other son who is a baseball player saw her for his sports injuries. His injuries would be healed so quickly I was amazed. So then I decided to see her and the treatments have helped me so much with any type of pain (usually neck/shoulder/arm pain from stress). We are all so grateful for Dr. Tina! She is an AMAZING doctor who truly helps her patients in so many different ways 🙂

It’s been over eight years since I Googled “What is a doctor of osteopathy and what do they do”?

I now know, an osteopath has been to medical school, studied what a physician studies, and been on the same rotations in residency, etc. The distinction, and it’s a big one, is that the osteopath is trained to focus on the whole body and not, pointedly, at one component of it. I’d say this is a fundamental foundation of osteopathy.

I was desperate to get relief from lower back pain that one doctor told me could only be rectified by ablating (destroying) my nerves every so often. I didn’t believe it, and I’m glad I did not. After a couple of visits to Dr. Ashrafzadeh, at Pacific Coast Osteopathy, that pain was completely gone and has not returned. And I keep going, again and again and again, and whatever it is, it gets fixed. I have learned that when one part of the body goes out of alignment, it throws off other areas that are trying to compensate. And so—we want to be aligned. That’s what an osteopath does. This is true for all ages.

NOTE: For people who are afraid of “the doctor,” this is what you can expect in terms of your physical participation—wearing your comfortable clothes, you lie on a cushioned table and receive about a one-hour, gentle, hands-on treatment. This is not massage, nor is it a chiropractic adjustment or anything else you have experienced unless you have gone to a traditional osteopath. The doctors are able to answer any questions about what’s happening physiologically during the treatment. But there’s really no explaining what it is that distinguishes a healer, and both physicians at this practice are healers. Frankly, I don’t know how people live without this.

I could not recommend the Pacific Coast Osteopathy practice more highly.

I have been a patient here for 7 years. They are the two most talented healers in my life. They are intuitive and thorough. It is cranial sacral manipulation, it is spiritual and it is honest. I have trouble describing how amazing osteopathic treatment is. I come in kinda achey and wobbly and worn down and I leave feeling like my head is held high above my shoulders, my hips are level and my knees and feet are lined up to support me. A few days later I realize I have slept thru the night and I am rested and confident, the brain fuzz clears out and I am SO MUCH BETTER. Any physical injury I came in with, I can feel the healing increase in speed and progress. Give them 3 visits and you will be on a new path of healing.

Unfortunately, I was not able to receive treatment. After contacting twice by email, as they state is the only way to communicate, they got back to me (4 days later) stating they are not taking any more Medicare patients. Guess there is not enough money in treating Medicare. Disappointed

Dr. b has been truly a godsend for me. I’ve been seeing Dr B twice a week for nearly 2 years and he has honestly changed my life in so many ways. I was bed bound for months after getting autoimmune neurological symptoms after COViD and I went to literally a hundred doctors before him and nearly gave up before i found his services because nobody was taking a wholistic view of my health except for him. Since then, he has not only transformed my health and given me the ability to exercise/socialize/etc, but also has given me confidence in knowing the root cause of all of my symptoms, has improved my lifestyle, my mindset, relationships, and more. I have never met someone so perfectly able to quickly understand the intricacies of each persons problems, provide hands-on relief, and then to communicate them in a humble and compassionate way. I literally cannot stop recommending him to people in my life because he is as close to a miracle worker as I have seen and every appointment I come away gaining so much progress and learning so much. I am forever grateful to him and he will always be my go-to doctor for any problem large or small!

I visited Dr. Ashrafzadeh initially for vertigo - I had spent lots of time and money going to the ENT, Acupuncture, Chiropractor etc and no one could find the cause or solve the problem. After only 3 sessions with Dr. Ashrafzadeh and one session with Dr. Babayan it is completely gone!

I also mentioned in passing that I had been experiencing lower back pain for about 5 years and I had been seeing a Chiropractor about 1x per month. She treated my back 2x and it's been 4 months with no pain whatsoever!
