I will no longer use this pharmacy. This pharmacy received a prescription for Paxlovid from my physician which is used by people who have covid. According to my dr, it was supposed to be ready by a certain time that day. When I called to see if my prescription was ready, the person who answered the phone told me that they didn’t have it in stock - thus they couldn’t fill it. I asked why they didn’t notify me of that and she acted as if it didn’t matter. After using Rite Aid for decades, I have decided to transfer my prescriptions to a more reliable business.

Pharmacy has become awful, stay away!! Most pharmacy employees at this location are rude and have a don't care attitude. They don't even answer the phone! I realize supply chain is an issue in most industries in these times, however again, this establishment can't even be bothered to answer the phone and inform you. They simply have no answers. The only way to get information is by going to the store and waiting in line which is the norm for them now a days. In my case, even in person still no answers I was told they "would eventually get the medication in", no idea whether days, weeks or months. They are always waiting on the shipment, or if they have the shipment "it will be a while" before they can get to it (I have been told). I have been picking up my family's prescriptions here for over 20 years and have been patient these last two years hoping they can get their act together but it doesn't seem that is going to be the case. Maybe they are closing as the rumor goes...the drive thru is never open anymore it seems, and they can't be bothered to fully open the pharmacy windows even during normal business hours. No complaints with the store itself or the store employees, this is review is merely for the pharmacy.

Seems like I have the same experience as most customers with this pharmacy. The Pharmacist was rude and condescending and acted like they may not get my prescription but oh well. I’m sure if it was medication for his mother he may care more. After I get my medicine or if I do, I will transfer all of my refills to another branch or maybe CVS or Walgreens instead. I had to transfer from the New Cumberland store when they closed and Lemoyne is awful. Shop elsewhere. Rite Aid no wonder you are going under with stores like this

The place is always very clean and the staff is always very friendly and low-key.

Browsing through the reviews, I am reminded that some people apparently have nothing better to do then k’vetch….

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 2 YEARS: from 1 star to 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Recent review: they have drastically improved the service in their drive through and pharmacy! Very prompt & helpful! Thank you!! ?

Sat in drive through for 8-9 minutes and never acknowledged me. This has happened on numerous occasions and its very frustrating, especially with kids in car. They continued to help everyone at the service counter but continued to ignore the drive-through. If they are not going to service the drive-through a simple sign would be nice since it would require you to exit the area and drive back through the parking lot off a busy road.

Today I asked if the drive-through was open because I had been here for so long and no one looked at me and they just responded with “wow….Im sorry”.

I walk up to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription my doctor sent over earlier. The woman behind the counter angrily scolds me, "just because your doctor sends over your prescription, doesn't mean it's going to be ready! You can go have a seat and wait!" I apologized and said that I wasn't familiar with how it all works. I asked her how long she thought the wait would be and she takes her hand and motions towards the line and says, "I don't know, have a seat." I waited over 45 minutes and everyone in line behind me when I arrived had all come and gone and lots of other people were helped. I guess they forgot about me and I wasn't going to wait in the long line again, so I left. I figured they don't care about me as a customer or my well-being and honestly it was just some medication to help me feel better from having the flu. So I left without ever receiving my meds and no one has yet to call me to notify my that my prescription would be ready yet. Clearly, I am no priority to Rite Aid. I wish I could say this was the first time I was treated poorly by their pharmacy but it isn't. That's ok. CVS is right across the street.

Yep it's time to switch pharmacies. For the last 2 months I've been treated rotten and drive thru is non operational according to some childish handwritten sign that you can't read until you get to the front. Why isn't there a prepaid line? I used to like this store but now they treat me like trash.

Yet another one star review for your pharmacy. I’ve had numerous issues here but like the location and the rest of the store so I foolishly keep coming back. But today I’ve had it! Called in appx 4hrs after I was told the doc sent my Rx to this location. No one answered my calls, left a vmail, didn’t get a call back, called the front to make sure the pharmacy was open and she transferred me back, continued to sit on hold then was rerouted back to her. All i wanted to know was if my prescription was there! I said I’d send someone in to check. The pharmacist was rude to him and told him he didn’t have a call. I called back in to inquire and after three tries someone finally answered. I eventually was told that he was the manager and that they were so busy and I was on the list to be called back. But like, when? After the doctor closed so I couldn’t follow-up and get this prescription to stop my projectile vomiting? The manager gentleman gave me a story that there are long lines (though i know there were only TWO PEOPLE in line at the store) and they’re working hard - I’m sure they are but if you treat people rudely, you start getting rude responses. I thought maybe I’m being too hard on them, then saw the multitude of one star reviews mentioning poor treatment at this pharmacy and realized it’s officially time to take my pharmacy business to CVS. I’ve been a strong rite aid supporter for years, but after so many experiences like this, it’s just not worth it.
