Recently I switched insurance and had to find a new doctor. This is always a daunting task because I hate being treated like a number or having a doctor that just writes a script to be rid of you instead of finding the problem. Dr. Schalcosky is everything Medici e should be. He is kind, he asks questions, he listens to the answers and he has not forgotten the human touch. He makes you feel as if he loves what he does and it’s an honor for him to treat you. I, sir, am honored to be your patient. Thank you for being someone who cares! He knew exactly what was wrong because he asked the right questions and I have been brushed off and given antibiotics for a problem that needed to be treated differently. Also his MA Shayanne is a blessing. Sweet and personable I make an hour drive because they are worth it!

I am a patient of Dr.Scalcosky and a Registered Nurse. If I could give him 10 stars he deserves it. He is a real Dr.who listens,takes his time with you and always prescribes the best for you if needed. When he runs late for his appointments I tell the waiting patients who complain that you always wait for a REAL Dr .who listens and cares for all his patients. He is the Best and a credit to the medical profession.

Doctor SCHALCOSKY is a very good doctor also the Director of primary care at Cleveland clinic Indian River. My question is he's only been there for 2 1/2 years why is he quitting? Seems like a lot of doctors are leaving that Cleveland clinic franchise ?

Dr. Schalcosky himself is WONDERFUL! He took the time and effort to really listen to me and my concerns. HOWEVER, getting an appt., or even someone to answer the phone is a miracle! 4 calls. On a silent hold from anywhere between 20 to 60 min before hanging up on the first 3. The 4th call i left a message for them to call me. At the end of the day, no call. So I call AGAIN! On the 5th call I get angry. And instead of following recorded prompts, I just start hitting zero multiple times. Sent me to recording about 3 times. Then finally music. So I decide to wait. About 5 min later A REAL PERSON! ?. And I was FINALLY able to schedule an appt for 2 days later. What are they doing over there?!
Sorry Doc. I love your compassion and the down to earth way you treat your patients. But if I can't get in to see you, what good does it do me? So I had to give 4 instead if 5 stars.

Dr. Schalcosky is a very concerned and caring Doctor, he is genuinely a people person. I would have followed him to Florida from Cleveland if I was able to do so.I miss him as my doctor.
