I have suffered with daily excruciating sciatic pain for two years. My orthopedic didn’t help. Physical therapy helped minimally. Chiropractic the same. But since I started seeing Dr. Burden in January of this year, my improvement is profound. I can sleep on my back again, walk and sit without horrible pain, and while it’s not 100% gone it’s miraculously livable. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Burden. . . She gave me my life back. She’s a blessing.

I highly recommend Dr. Yumie Burden. The office is conveniently located on Mount Juliet Road. Dr. Burden is always on time and she takes insurance. I am 70 and I have been dealing with chronic back pain on and off since my mid 30's. I have 2 bulging lumbar disks in my lower back (as the result of lifting a heavy object). When my back "goes out" I am in bed for a week and barely able to walk without canes and assistance. I have gone to pain management specialists, chiropractors, physical therapy, & have had epidurals, rhizotomy, & stem cell therapy etc. This is the first time I have visited an Osteopathic Doctor. Dr. Burden took 1 hour to evaluate my condition on the first visit. She also gave me therapy to relieve my pain. During the therapy, she applies gentle pressure on areas from my head to my knees and gently moves my legs, neck, and back. There is never any pain involved. I felt 40% better after my 3rd treatment. Treatments are one each week. I felt 80% better after my 5th treatment. The pain and stiffness has significantly improved. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Burden; she is truly a healer. I feel like I am getting my life back and I am able to move again without pain and stiffness. I plan to continue therapy. Thank you Dr. Burden!

I've had neck pain so bad that I thought I was having a heart attack.
Long story short, it was coming from the muscle in my neck.
